One of my recent life goals is to become a travel writer writing articles for publication in various magazines. – I thoroughly enjoy sharing my adventures here on my blog and I hope to reach a larger & broader audience through magazines and other publications.
I’ve just had an article published in the Australian Jeep Action Magazine, which I’m really excited about. Below is the finished product in low-resolution. You’ll have to buy a copy of the magazine to read the full article!

Thanks man, it´s crazy to see it in print like that, as if it somehow makes it all more real.
AWESOME! I’ll have to find a copy and frame it! HA.. Next goal.. get Jeep to sponsor you!
Take care!
It´s on my mind for my next adventure for sure.
Hi Dan,Great to see your adventures in print.I will be off to the newsagents this morning, how many copys do you want?I will bring the magazine to NYC in June to show your parents.
Hey Ron, thanks very much! The editor of the magazine is sending one to Mum & Dad´s old place, so maybe if you could just take one over to NYC for Mum & Dad that would be fantastic. Thanks again.

Hey Duke-o! Great to hear from you brother.
I’m not 100% certain, but I think it’s an Australian only magazine.
How’s the winter been treating you? Every now and then I talk about snowboarding with someone and pretty soon I’m waiving my hands around and going crazy. Man, I’ll get back to it soon.
Take care buddy,

Winters a little dry but on the lighter side just got off a two week roadie with three Ozzys from Mt Hotham up in th hills between Melbourne and Sydney. Went up through Big Sky, B irdger, Whitefish, Ferni, REvelstoke, SilverStar, Baker, then back through portland home. The boys and I became so tight that we decided the best thing for all of us would be for me to head out there for a season so I’m workin on me work visa and spending some time out there! should be siiiiick– Get on a board and ride my man– I bet you have no idea how much you miss it. Much love my brotha– keep in touch— Love El DUKAROO!
Great to hear from you man. A season in Oz, hey?! You’ll have a blast.
I think about snowboarding most days, funny how the grass is always greener. Still thinking I’ll try to work as an instructor in Chile or Argentina if it’s at all possible.
Sounds like you had an awesome roadie – nice one man.
All the best brother, see you on the other side somewhere.

Hey Dan, great work! I was able to get a few stories published online, but having something in print is a whole new couple of levels. Keep it up!
Thanks man, I hope your trip is awesome.
Published! Good job! Very cool. Maybe Jeep will give you free parts if you ever need them. It is in their best interest to keep your Wrangler running.
I made a real point of not getting sponsorship this time around, I wanted it to be the ‘every person’ trip to show that anyone can do this if they want it bad enough.
Next time, however, will be a different story
Nice!!!!
Looks like you’re on the way to super-stardom
na, it’s all the Jeep – I just sit in it
